Our specialist pastoral team works with parents to understand the individual needs of ASRA learners and ensure there is a plan in place to support all learners.
Students are assessed regularly in the form of formative and summative assessments throughout the year. Parents receive a comprehensive progress report after each assessment.
We do not receive funding or grants from the government or any private organisations. We welcome donations from private donors who have a passion for education. Please contact ASRA’s office for more details.

Online learning might not suit your child. If your child is not comfortable and wants to join a mainstream school, we provide an academic report and reference as evidence of learning at ASRA.
Absolutely. For the GCSE curriculum, we follow The English Baccalaureate (EBacc), which is widely accepted by top British universities as well as most international universities.
ASRA is a specialist home schooling hub. We provide a variety of learning options for home schooled students. This form of education does not require Ofsted or DfE accreditation. For iGCSE qualifications, we prepare our students for internationally recognised British exam boards such as Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge international.
Home schooling provides significant advantages to parents when it comes to hobbies and extra-curricular activities. There is plenty of free time available in ASRA’s timetable for parents and students to benefit from local clubs and activities of their choice. Due to this flexibility, most home schooling students exceed and excel both academically and socially.
Since 2015, we have been participating in international academic competitions. This is a unique opportunity for ASRA learners to engage and socialise with local and international students.
We hold regular online enrichment lessons focusing on various Skills development. Participation for pupils is optional for these lessons.
This is ASRA’s flagship program called ‘Aadab & Akhlaq’ designed and tailored for 21st-century British Muslims. It is a transformational movement for positive character change, rooted in fundamental Islamic values also considered universal to the human race, such as respect, integrity, honesty and compassion. The main aim of this program is to help our students develop and understand virtue ethics and inspire them to acquire and practice these virtues in their daily life.

A virtual classroom works exactly like a physical classroom. Teachers deliver highly engaging and interactive lessons in real time. Quality education can only be delivered in a small-sized class as this provides better one-to-one focus for students,and so our class sizes are limited to 12 students.

Our systematic approach to student progress monitoring looks at ASRA’s advanced learning management system’s multiple data points combined with individual pupil feedback by the teachers. The Parent Portal provides parents with a clear view of key parts of their child’s school record, from weekly homework, assessment reports to attendance and teacher’s feedback.
