THE SUPER
CURRICULUM
Our academic curriculum is broad and balanced.
Students are taught specific knowledge and skills in English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, Computer Science, Modern Foreign Languages, Arts and spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. Our curriculum is designed to move the students’ thinking to a higher understanding rather than simply acquiring facts.
Knowledge Rich Curriculum
At ASRA Hub, we use the National Curriculum for England as the foundation of our teaching. Our lessons are carefully designed to be both challenging and stimulating, helping students strengthen their literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills. To enrich learning beyond the classroom, each subject area offers additional activities during and after the school day. With a broad and balanced curriculum that integrates both academic and Islamic values, we ensure the intellectual, social, cultural, spiritual, and moral development of every pupil.
Non-Academic Enrichment
A rigorous academic education alone is no longer enough to prepare children for life beyond the classroom. Every young person should have the opportunity to realise their full potential — both academically and personally. That is why Life Skills education at ASRA Hub plays a vital role in our curriculum.
Our programme equips students with the essential skills to develop strong work ethics, manage their workload effectively, and build healthy social relationships. These foundations help lay the groundwork for a confident, successful future. Guided by our dedicated leadership, ASRA Hub is committed to preparing learners for their career prospects and providing them with the practical tools needed to thrive in the real world.
Broad and Balanced Knowledge
At ASRA Hub, we give equal importance to STEM subjects, humanities, and languages, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education. Our holistic and integrated teaching approach goes beyond the traditional classroom model, encouraging critical thinking and creativity. Learning is enriched through active and engaging activities such as debates, discussions, role play, and project-based learning — helping students develop confidence, communication, and collaboration skills.
Adaab and Akhlaq - Islamic Education
This programme is specially designed for 21st-century British Muslims, offering a transformational journey of positive character development rooted in core Islamic values. These timeless principles — respect, integrity, honesty, and compassion — are also universal to humanity as a whole.
Through the moral teachings of the divine Prophets (peace be upon them) and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), our students are guided to not only understand but also embody these virtues in their daily lives. The programme inspires learners to practice Islamic ethics with confidence, shaping them into individuals who excel spiritually, morally, and socially.
Extra Curricular Activities
For parents homeschooling their children, a common concern is how their child will engage with peers and build lasting friendships. At ASRA Hub, we recognise that extracurricular activities are the cornerstone of a well-rounded education. These experiences shape a child’s personality, build confidence, and nurture essential social skills.
Our ASRA Hub Enrichment Programme gives students the opportunity to explore and participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, from creative projects to sports and competitions. Pupils are encouraged to take part in both local and international events, helping them connect with others, showcase their talents, and grow into confident, well-rounded individuals.
